Irvin "Gene" Gordon, Lyons, Ore.

Services for Irvin "Gene" Gordon, 50, a former Winterset resident, who died Feb. 3 at a Salem, Ore., hospital, were held Feb. 7 at Weddle Mortuary at Stayton, Ore. Interment was at the Lone Oak Cemetery there.

Born in Winterset, he had lived at Lyons, Ore., for 20 years. He was a truck driver for Stayton Canning Co. for 13 years and a Marine veteran of the Korean War.

Survivors include his wife, Carol; son, Erin; daughters, Vickie Brown and Shelly Gordon, both of Salem; parents, Tom and Mary Gordon, Aumsville, Ore.; brothers, Jack, Medford, Ore., and Dean, Yakima, Wash.; and a sister, Pat Gordon, Aumsville.
