Marilyn Lee Lynch, 66, of Prole, died of a respiratory ailment April 6, 1997 at Des Moines General Hospital. Funeral services will be today, Wednesday, April 9 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Patrick's Catholic Church, Irish Settlement. Burial will be at St. Patrick's Cemetery.
She was born Nov. 2, 1930 and was a homemaker. She was a member of the St. Patrick's Catholic Church and the Rosary and Altar Society.
Surviving relatives include her husband, Donald Lynch of Prole; four daughters, Mary Pat Wiedman and husband Jim of Prole, Kathy Towers and husband Dan of Scranton, Anne Nelson and husband, John of Des Moines, and Peggy Lynch of Prole; two sons, Tim Lynch of Norwalk, and Mike Lynch and wife Cecelia of Cumming; and seven grandchildren.
