Death Of MICHAEL SHEA

Van Meter Special, March 12th

Funeral services were held at St. Patrick's church in Cumming for Michael Shea, who died at the home of his sister, Mrs. Pray, near Van Meter last Sunday afternoon. Mr. Shea had been ill a long time but his death was caused by pneumonia.

He was born and reared in Lee township, one of a family of sixteen children of whom two survive him. They are James Shea of Lee township and Mrs. Elizabeth Pray of Van Meter.

Services were conducted by Rev. M. V. Dugan at 10 o'clock a.m. last Wednesday and interment was made in the family lot in St. Patrick's cemetery.
