JIMMIE REIMANN, Van Meter

Jimmie W. Reimann, 77, of Van Meter, died of cancer Oct. 30, 1995 at Iowa Methodist Medical Center in Des Moines. Funeral services were Nov. 2 at Collins Funeral Home in Winterset. Burial was at St. Patrick's Irish Settlement Church Cemetery in Madison County.

He was born in Madison County on July 7, 1918 to Emmiel and Nora (Dooley) Reimann. He married Elizabeth Eggleston on Sept. 4, 1940 at Polk County. He was a farmer and lifetime resident of Madison County. He was a member of the Farm Bureau.

He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister.

Surviving relatives include his wife; one daughter, Suzanne Klaas and husband Leo of Melbourne; and two sisters, Marguerite Burklund and Hazel Reimann, both of Des Moines.
