Eva Pearl Glasscock, Winterset

Services for Eva Pearl Glasscock, 100, Winterset, who died Oct. 12 at her residence, were held Tuesday Oct. 15, at the Collins Funeral Home with the Rev. Charles Updike officiating. Burial was at the South Oak Grove Cemetery at Stuart.

Born in Adair County on Sept. 30, 1885, she was the daughter of John and Cora Kirlin McGinnis. She was a housewife and a member of the First Christian Church. In 1905, she was married to Arnis A. Glasscock in Adair County.

Survivors include sons, Albert of Islamorada, Fla., Ira of Ft. Myers, Fla.; and Gilbert of Jackson, Mich.; a daughter, Thelma M. Hitchcock of Winterset; a brother, Floyd McGinnis of Harlingen, Texas; a sister, Alda Flood of Winterset; seven grandchildren and 22 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, a son, a daughter, a brother and two sisters.
