W. A. WIEDMANN Died Thursday

Death of St. Charles Man occurs at age of 75 Years

William A. Wiedmann of St. Charles, member of a well-known Crawford township family, died Thursday, Jan. 4, 1968, at his farm home. Death resulted from a heart condition. He was 75 years of age.

Mr. Wiedmann was born and spent his early life in Crawford township. He was a veteran of World War I, and a member of Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 674.

He was a member of Assumption Catholic church at Churchville, and Catholic Order of Foresters.

Mr. Wiedmann is survived by his wife, Mrs. Gladys Wiedmann of St. Charles; two sons, William Wiedmann, Jr., of West Des Moines and Paul Wiedmann of St. Charles; three daughters, Mrs. Katherine McCrea and Mrs. Irene Frueh of St. Charles and Mrs. Dorothy Jeffries of Des Moines; 24 grandchildren; and two sisters, Mrs. Rose Nehring of St. Charles and Isabella Wiedmann of St. Charles.

Rosary was recited Sunday for Mr. Wiedmann at the Churchville parish hall. Funeral services were held from Assumption Catholic church, with burial in Calvary cemetery there.
