Funeral services were conducted last Thursday, December 29, at 10 a.m. for Mildred M. Wiedmann, 62, who died Christmas Day, Dec. 25, 1977, in Winterset.
Father Gene Cunningham officiated at rites from St. Joseph Catholic Church with burial at the Winterset Cemetery.
Mrs. Wiedmann was born July 10, 1915, at Willis, Kansas, the daughter of George and Katherine Rehm Bindel. She was married to John H. Wiedmann on February 26, 1935, in Madison County. He preceded her in death on May 31, 1976. Mrs. Wiedmann was a resident of this county abut 42 years.
Survivors include eight daughters, Rose Rinkert of Pattereson, Dorothy Bear of Weldon, Helen Wiedmann, Joan Harris and Beverly Maxwell of Winterset, Edith Jacobs of New Virginia, Judy Vils of Portage, Wis., Kathy Jones of New Virginia; two sons, Glen Wiedmann of Prole, John Wiedmann of Winterset; thirty grandchildren; three brothers, Walter and George Bindel of Winterset, Leo Bindel of Norwalk; two sisters, Rose Zbierski of St. Joseph, Mo. and Josephine Schubert of St. Joseph, Mo.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, two brothers, four sisters and four grandchildren.
