Services for Eldon Wesley Frederick, 71, Strafford, Mo., who died at Cox Memorial Hospital at Springfield, Mo., Dec. 16, will be held Thursday at 1:30 p.m. at the Collins Funeral Home with the Rev. Charles Updike officiating. Burial will be at the Winterset Cemetery.

Born at Creston on March 21, 1912, he was the son of Bert and Nell Welcher Frederick. He was a retired mechanic and a past member of the Lakeview Country Club near Winterset.

On May 2, 1933, Mr. Frederick married Iva Cox at Winterset. She survives along with sons, Jimmie F. Frederick of Mason City, and Nicky Frederick of Minneapolis, Minn.; a daughter, Arleta Roberts (Mrs. Richard) of Columbia, Mo.; his mother of Kansas; a sister Eleanor Hiskey of Patterson; and 11 grandchildren.

Preceding him in death was his father.
