MRS. MARY NICOSON OF ST. CHARLES DIES
Native of Kentucky Lived 75 Years in Madison County
Mrs. Mary F. Nicoson, a resident of Madison county for three quarters of a century, died Tuesday, April 5, at her home in St. Charles. She was 80 years of age.
Mrs. Nicoson was a native of Kentucky, where she was born in Adair county on March 28, 1880, a daughter of Elmer and Seney Ross McKinney. She came to Madison county when she was five years of age.
She was married to George Nicoson at Winterset in March, 1896.
Surviving are five children, Clarence Nicoson of Lakeworth, Florida, Keith Nicoson of St. Charles, Mrs. Fern Kreft of Des Moines, Mrs. Faye Baugh of Ft. Lauderdale, Fla., and Frank Nicoson of Hamand, Ind. She also leaves five grandchildren; six great grandchildren; and four sisters.
Funeral services were held last Thursday from the Kale Funeral home in Truro, conducted by the Rev. W. C. Trembly. Burial was made in the St. Charles cemetery.
