Joe Galleguillos, Patterson

Joe Galleguillos, 81, of Patterson, died of cancer June 16, 1997 at the Winterset Care Center North. The body was donated to the University of Osteopathic Med. & Health Science.

He was born in Antosagasto, Chile on Feb. 25, 1916 to Leo and Rose (Paradas) Galleguillos. He married Reva Lull in 1944 in Las Vegas, Nevada. He was a retired chef and had been a resident of Madison County for the past 20 years. He was a member of the V.F.W.; Oddfellows and Rebekahs, and a member of the St. Joseph Catholic Church in Winterset.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, and five sisters.

Surviving relatives include two sons, Gary Galleguillos and wife Bernadett of Fremont, Calif., and Patrick Galleguillos of Santa Cruz, Calif.; two sisters; four brothers; five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
