DENNIS WICKS, 25, Funeral At Boone

Dennis L. Wicks, 25, son of Dr. and Mrs. Ralph L. Wicks of Boone, former Winterset resident, died Wednesday afternoon April 29, 1964, at Woodward, after an extended illness. Dennis was born in Winterset, and resided here with his parents, until his father joined the U. S. Air Force as a medical officer,in the early part of World War II.

Survivors include his parents, a brother Douglas, who is a senior in the Boone high school, and a sister, Mary, who is a sophomore student at St. Mary's boarding school in Fairbault, Minn.

Funeral services were held Friday morning, May 1, at 10:30 a.m. from the Grace Episcopal church in Boone, with the Rev. Clifford Atkinson in charge. Burial was in the Linwood park cemetery in Boone.

Mr. and Mrs. Russell Wicks of Iowa City, also former Winterset residents, attended the services for their nephew. Mr. and Mrs. J. C. Moore also attended the final rites.
