Mrs. Margaret Flesher

Ann Margaret Flesher, was born in Madison county on May 5, 1921, a daughter of Charlie and Anna Hildebrand Allen. With the exception of two years at Diagonal, her life was spent in Madison County.

She had lived at Winterset for many years, and recently had been operating a beauty shop. She was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars auxiliary here. She owned a beauty shop east of the Northeast corner of the square at the time of her death.

Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Christie Friday of Lorimor; a son, Willard A. Flesher of Winterset; two grandchildren, Ricki David and Kelley Renee Friday of Lorimor; two brothers ad four sisters, Mrs. William Parker, Mrs. Kenneth Olson, Mrs. Albert Lehman and Mrs. Hal Orr, all of Winterset, Robert Allen of St. Charles and Wayne Allen of Junction City, Kan.; and her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Charlie Allen of Winterset.

Funeral services were held Saturday from the Collins Funeral home, conducted by the Rev. Robert A. Owens, pastor of the First Christian church of Winterset. Burial was made in the North McDonald cemetery.
