JACK WILEY, Lorimor

Jack Wiley, 75, of Lorimor died May 28, 2003, at Madison County Memorial Hospital in Winterset.

Funeral services were held Saturday, May 31, at Ochiltree Funeral Service & Aftercare in Winterset. A private burial was held later.

Jack Wiley was born Dec. 8, 1927, in rural Decatur County to Pearl E. and Mary L. (Teale) Wiley. On March 19, 1948, he married Joy L. Hunter in Davis City. Jack was a farmer and rancher, owning his own farming operation in Iowa and later residing in Lyons, Colo., as a rancher.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Joy; a brother, Arthur "Pop" Wiley; and a grandson, Kurt Hol.

He is survived by a daughter, Carol "Cindy" Hol of Adel; a son, Brad Wiley of Lorimor; his mate, Dr. Cheryl Clement of Boulder, Colo.; two sisters, Willa Farrell of Hollywood, Fla., and Peg Sandage of Akron, Ohio; two brothers, James Wiley of Leavenworth, Kan., and Pearl "Wimp" Wiley of Panora; three grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
