1975Della Ferrall Dies At 94
A 94-year-old life-long resident of Madison County died last Saturday at Iowa Methodist Medical Center in Des Moines. She was Mrs. Della Lucretia Ferrall, who was born on a farm near Winterset October 29, 1881, and lived her entire lifetime in this vicinity.
Funeral services for Mrs. Ferrall were held at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, August 10, from the Collins Funeral Home in Winterset. Dr. Paul Hann officiated, with burial at Blair Chapel Cemetery in South township.
She was the daughter of John Milton and Elizabeth Owen Eskew. On November 12, 1902, she was married to William James Ferrall at Winterset. He preceded her in death on November 21, 1951.
Mrs. Ferrall was a housewife and member of Order of Eastern Star, Holliwell Social Club, Hoosier Prairie Club, Sixty Plus Golden Years and the Farm Bureau.
Mrs. Ferrall is survived by a daughter, Doris E. (Mrs. Lowell) Jackson of Des Moines; a son, Robert Ferrall of Monticello, Iowa; six grandchildren and ten great grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by two sisters.
