Services Held For Fenimore

Rae Josephine Fenimore, 81, died Tuesday, July 18, at Winterset Care Center North. Born August 4, 1896 in the community of Elm Grove, Madison county, Mrs. Fenimore attended Elm Grove Schools and Highland Park College in Des Moines.

Daughter of Joseph Henry and Sarah Jane Ray Hoover, she married Grover Fenimore on November 7, 1914, in Winterset. She was a member of the Peru Methodist Church.

Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Jean Porter of St. Charles and Mrs. Susan Hagen of Ft. Worth, Texas; five sons, Roger of Mitchellville, Paul of Ephrata, Washington, Bill of Chicago and J. Doyle of Des Moines; 27 grandchildren; and 40 great-grandchildren; and one sister, Mrs. Doris Strutz of Peru.
