Services for Helen Beatrice Faux, 77, Winterset, who died Nov. 5 were held Friday, Nov. 8, at the Collins Funeral Home with the Rev. Clarence Lautt officiating. Burial was at the McGinnis Cemetery.

Born in Madison County Oct. 31, 1908, she was the daughter of Joseph and Margaret Thornburg Cooper. She lived most of her life in Madison county and was a member of the Patterson United Methodist Church.

On Dec. 27, 1926, she married Byron Faux in Des Moines.

Survivors include sons, Russell of Winterset, Byron Jr. of Iowa Park, Texas, Wallace of Oakland, Calif., Alvin of Bridgewater, Iowa and Donald of Patterson; daughters, Fannie Moore of Winterset and Rose Benedict of Redfield; brothers, Roy Cooper of Winterset and Henry Cooper of Melcher; sisters, Opal Huddelson of Winterset and Gertrude Cline of Hiawatha, Kan.; 33 grandchildren and 40 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded by her husband, parents, a son, two brothers and three sisters.
