Services Thursday For Paul Fast

Paul M. Fast, 74, of St. Charles died Sunday, February 18 at his home. Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, February 22 at St. Charles Methodist Church. Burial will be in the St. Charles Cemetery with Rev. Rolland C. Towell officiating.

Mr. Fast was born on December 18, 1904 at Hurdland, Missouri and was the son of John M. and Callie Elliot Fast. On November 9, 1936 he was married to Evelyn Strange in Des Moines. He was a St. Charles resident for 30 years and retired from Brady-Koering Mfg. in 1970.

He was preceded in death by his wife, his parents, four brothers and two sisters. He is survived by five sons, Dean and Roger of St. Charles, David of New Virginia, Larry of Indianola, and Lanny of Des Moines; a daughter, Mrs. Marianna Drake of Indianola; three brothers, Glen, John and Archie; two sisters, Lula Weck and Lilah Wilson and 15 grandchildren.
