Graveside funeral services were held for Ora Mauck Williams, 85, on October 1 at Grand Junction Township Cemetery. She died on September 22, 1990.
Born March 5, 1905, near Corydon, Ind., Ora was one of the twin daughters of Alfred and Emma E. Mauck. The family moved to Iowa while she was young. She graduated from Winterset High School in 1927 and worked as a stenographer in Wintersest and later in California. She married Ralph M. Williams and they lived for many years in LaVerne, Calif., until retirement when she moved to Greeley, Colo.
She was preceded in death by her husband and parents.
She is survived by three sisters, her twin sister, Nora Gaekle of Pasadena, Calif.; Clella Lewis of Marshalltown and Arbel Wilson of Madrid, Iowa. Relatives in Winterset include nieces and nephews; Glenn, Gail and Murray Cline, Norma Junkin, Marilyn McNamara and Dixie Young.
