Fern A. Eyerly, 92, of St. Joseph, Mo., died Nov. 3, 2002. She was a former Winterset resident.

Funeral services were held Wednesday, Nov. 6 at Meierhoffer Family Service Chapel in St. Joseph. Interment was at Moon Cemetery, Grand River Township, Madison County.

Fern Eyerly was born July 8, 1910, to Earl Oliver and Grace (Woods) Dorsey of Macksburg. In 1930 she married Rolla S. Eyerly. She taught school in Iowa for approximately 20 years. She later was employed for 10 years by the former Thompson-Brumm-Knepper Clinic as an insurance department manager, retiring in 1976. Fern was a member of East Hills Church of Christ and Platte Valley Business Club.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, a daughter and a granddaughter.

She is survived by a daughter, Nancy Imm of St. Joseph, Mo.
