Alan Eads, 25, Dies At Truro

Funeral services for Alan Elliott Eads, 25, of Truro were held last Saturday, June 18, from the Webster-Kale Funeral Home in Osceola.

Mr. Eads died Wednesday, June 15, at his home, rural Truro, following an extended illness.

A son of Albert and Betty Lindquist Eads, he was born Sept. 2nd, 1951, at Sioux City, Iowa. He was a 1969 graduate of Interstate-35 High School.

On March 22, 1971, he was married to Patricia Kerns at Macksburg, Iowa. His vocation was farming, and he was a member of the Carpenters Union.

Surviving are his wife; two sons, Shawn Michael and William Albert at home; his mother, Betty Eads of Truro; and his parents-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Merle Kerns of Macksburg.

He was preceded in death by his father.

Officiating at the funeral Saturday was the Rev. Millard Marshall of Omega, Kansas. Burial was in Fremont Cemetery, Clarke County.
