1969NANNIE DUTTON OF TRURO DIES
Mrs. Nannie Dutton of Truro a life-long resident of Madison county, died Nov. 6 at Des Moines General hospital. She was 83 years of age.
As a young woman, Mrs. Dutton had been a school teacher in Clarke county. She had lived in Truro since 1919.
Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Lucille Priest of Peru; a son, Marvin Dutton of Knoxville; four grandchildren; one great grandchild; and a sister, Mrs. Jennie Klein of Truro.

Funeral services were held Sunday, November 9, for Nannie Dutton, 83, who died Thursday, November 6, in the Des Moines General Hospital. The Rev. Richard Hempenius conducted the 2 p.m. funeral from the Kale Funeral Home in Truro with interment in Ebenezer Cemetery.
Nannie Dutton was born February 2, 1886, in Madison County, Iowa, daughter of Henry Klein and Kathryn Goessoling Klein. She attended schools in Madison County prior to her marriage to C. Oscar Dutton in Denver, Colorado on July 15, 1908. Three children were born to this union.
The Duttons moved to Truro in 1919 and have resided there since that time. Mrs. Dutton was a member of the Murray Methodist Church.
Survivors include one daughter, Mrs. Amel Priest of Peru; one son, Marvin Dutton of Knoxville; four grandchildren, Mrs. Herb Fitzgerald and Bill Dutton of Truro and Mike and Kim Dutton of Knoxville and one sister, Jennie Klein of Truro.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Oscar; one son, Lawrence Dutton; and eight brothers and sisters.
