GEORGE DURHAM DIES AT 91 YEARS

Funeral Services Held This Tuesday From St. Charles Methodist Church

George A. Durham, a resident of the St. Charles community most of his life, died Friday, March 1, at a Des Moines rest home. He was 91 years of age.

Mr. Durham was born in Madison county Feb. 19, 1872, a son of Seldon and Anne Conard Durham. He was married to Cora Fife in 1896. Her death occurred in 1954.

Mr. Durham's active life was spent in farming. He was a member of the St. Charles Methodist church.

Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Faye Maine of Des Moines; a son, Harry Durham of Los Angeles, Calif.; seven grandchildren; 20 great grandchildren; and one great great grandchild.

Funeral services were held Tuesday from the St. Charles Methodist church conducted by the pastor, the Rev. Howard Cho. Burial was made in the St. Charles cemetery.
