Miriam Durand, Bloomington, Ind.

Services for Mrs. Miriam P. Durand, 85, a long-time resident of the Patterson-St. Charles area who died Monday, Oct. 11 at a Bloomington, Ind., care center, will be held at 2 p.m. Friday Oct. 15, at the St. Charles Parish Church. Rev. Chet Waterman will officiate. Burial will be in the Scott Ridge Cemetery south of Indianola.

She was married to George Durand July 6, 1927, in Madison County.

Survivors are a son, George Jr., of Newton; a daughter, Virginia (Mrs. Willard) McNichols of Elletsville, Ind.; six grandchildren; five great grandchildren; and two sisters, Mrs. Doris Gray of Indianola and Mrs. Ethel Seams of St. Charles.
