Services for Virginia Dunn, 67, St. Charles, who died January 26 at the Iowa Methodist Medical Center, were held Tues., Jan. 30 at the St. Charles Parish with the Rev. Tom Webster officiating. Burial was at the St. Charles Cemetery.
Born in Winterset April 2, 1922, she was the daughter of Tilman and Lillian Berliene DeBord. A retired seamstress, she had been employed to Bob Allen Sporting Goods in Des Moines. She was married to Robert E. Dunn on February 14, 1953 at Grant City, Mo., and was a lifetime resident of Madison County.
Mrs. Dunn, who had recently resided at the St. Charles Manor was a member of the St. Charles Parish and was known for her artistic abilities in ceramics.
Survivors include a step-daughter, Marilyn Young of St. Charles; a brother, Franklin Round of Maple Lake, Minn.; sisters, Letha Rudolf of Winterset, Barbara Baumeier of Waterloo, and Phyllis Wagner of Albert Lea, Minn.; grandchildren, William Young and Sandra Peck, both of St. Charles, and Lesley Gesaman and Lori Downs, both of Des Moines; and four great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, a brother and a sister.
