1964MARVIN W. DUDGEON OF WINTERSET DIES
Marvin W. Dudgeon of near Winterset died at his home last Wednesday, Feb. 19, at the age of 52 years. His death occurred suddenly.
Mr. Dudgeon had been a resident of Madison county for 30 years. He was born at Glidden on Nov. 1, 1911, a son of Joseph and Dalpha Whiting Dudgeon. His life was spent in farming.
He was a veteran of World War II.
Nearest surviving relatives are a brother, Clyde Dudgeon of Idaho; a sister, Mrs. Audrey Hildebrand of Winterset; his step-father, Oscar Hildebrand, and a step-brother, Irvin Hildebrand, both of Winterset.
Funeral services were held Saturday from the Collins Funeral home, conducted by the Rev. John E. Fink, pastor of the First United Presbyterian church of Winterset. Burial was made at the Glidden cemetery, with military honors by Merle-Hay post of the American Legion.
