Charles C. Driscoll, Winterset

Graveside services for Charles C. Driscoll, 56, Winterset, who died July 11 at the Veterans Administration Hospital in Des Moines, were held at the Winterset Cemetery Tues., July 17, with the Rev. Joel Andrus of the Martensdale Community Church officiating.

Mr. Driscoll was in the construction business and also worked as an auto salesman. He was born in Winterset on March 11, 1934, the son of Carl and Margaret Smith Driscoll. He was married to Dorothy White on June 20, 1974 at Ft. Dodge.

He was a lifetime resident of this area and was a member of the Martensdale Community Church, and the VFW. He was a member of the Army and served in the Korean War.

Survivors include his wife; a son, Michael of Denver, Colo.; a daughter, Rebecca Carpenter of Strasburg, Colo.; a brother, John of Scottsdale, Ariz.; a sister, Kathryn Bell of Winterset; and two grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother.
