BERT H. DREES OF WINTERSET DIES

Bert H. Drees of Winterset died Saturday, March 30, at Veterans' hospital in Des Moines, at the age of 62 years.

Mr. Drees was a native of Dubuque, where he was born June 12, 1894, a son of Mr. and Mrs. Bernard Drees. He was married at Winterset on May 16, 1923, to Ruth Hazel Powell, who survives him.

He was a war veteran and member of the American Legion.

Surviving are his wife; a brother, Clarence Drees of Dubuque; and a sister, Gertrude of Davenport.

Funeral services were held Monday from the Richards funeral home, conducted by the Rev. W. M. Steinmetz, pastor of the Winterset Methodist church. Burial was made in the Peru cemetery.
