Merlin E. Dowler, St. Charles

Services for Merlin E. Dowler, 61, St. Charles, who died of pneumonia Monday, Sept. 2 at Des Moines General Hospital, were held Thursday Sept. 5, at Peterson's Funeral Home in Indianola. Burial was at St. Charles Cemetery.

Mr. Dowler was a lifelong resident of St. Charles and was a self-employed truck driver.

Survivors include his wife, Deloris, a daughter, Debbie Stiverson of Des Moines; a son, Merlin Jr., of Indianola; a brother Raymond L. Dowler of St. Charles; and three grandchildren.
