Lucinda Jane Dorrell, 85, of Winterset died from complications of an ulcer April 12, 2000, at Madison County Memorial Hospital in Winterset.
Funeral services were held Tuesday, April 18, at Trinity Episcopal Church in Winterset with Father Douglas Haviland officiating. Burial was at Winterset Cemetery.
Lucinda Dorrell was born May 21, 1914 to Charles Wilbur and Nell (Rogers) Crawford. A 1932 Winterset High School graduate, she married Warren Dorrell on Oct. 13, 1943, in Bethany, Mo. She was a retired housekeeper and lifetime resident of Winterset. Lucinda was active in the local Republican Party and was a member of the Pythian Sisters and Trinity Episcopal Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband and her parents.
She is survived by a stepson, Rex Dorrell of Winterset; and two stepdaughters, Margaret Binns of Winterset and Berniece Hansen of Iowa City.
Memorial contributions may be directed to the Trinity Episcopal Church.
Funeral arrangements were handled by Collins Funeral Home in Winterset.
