MASON RAY WITT, Truro

Services for Mason Ray Witt, 62, Truro, who died Jan. 14, 1984, at Midwest City Memorial Hospital, Midwest City, Okla., were held Wednesday, Jan. 18 at the Kale Funeral Home in Truro with the Rev. Janne Clinton officiating. Burial was at the Booneville Cemetery.

Born Mar. 7, 1921 at Guthrie Center, he was the son of Ralph and Pearl Ryburn Witt. He married Lois Dickey May 8, 1960 in Des Moines.

Mr. Witt had worked as a truck driver and was a retired member of the Teamsters union. He also was a member of the VFW in Des Moines, a lifetime member of the Truro Lions Club and the Christian Church.

Survivors include his wife; sons, Robert and wife Renate, and Keith and wife Sandy, all of Truro, and Frank of New Walla, Okla.; two grandsons; a brother, Ralph of Des Moines; sisters, Grace Wolfe of West Des Moines, Vera Sarasico of Des Moines, June Cooper of Leon, Corene Wright of Hardy, Ark., and Willa Riera of Texarkana, Ark.; and his mother of West Des Moines.

He was preceded in death by his father and a sister.
