Marie Clements Wingerson, 83, of Seattle, Washington, died Dec. 4, 1994 at her home. Last rites were held in Seattle on Dec. 8, 1994. Burial was at the Lake View Cemetery with the Right Rev. Richard J. Boyce of the Anglican Church in America officiating the grave side ceremonies.

She was born June 19, 1911 in Garden City, Kans., to William Warder and Ora May (Clampitt) Clements, two early pioneering families in the State of Iowa. These families were prominent in the Earlham and Winterset areas of Madison County. She married Cortis Wingerson. She was a member of a number of social and hereditary organizations.

Surviving relatives include two sons, Richard C. Wingerson of Crested Butte, Colo., and Donald H. Wingerson of Seattle; three grandchildren; and one great-granddaughter.
