Rosalie Mary Witt, 62, of Earlham, died of cancer on Saturday, Sept. 15, 2001 at her home in Earlham. Services were held Sept. 19 at St. John's Catholic Church in Adel. Burial was at Earlham Cemetery in Earlham.

Rosalie Witt was born Nov. 24, 1938 in Prescott to Andrew and Mary (Krisinger) Rychnovsky. She graduated from Prescott High School and attended the American Business Institute in Des Moines. She married Harold Witt on March 3, 1962. They lived in Van Meter before moving to Earlham in 1989.

She worked at Penick Concrete in Booneville for 23 years. She enjoyed her flowers, home, yard, feeding birds, cooking, spending time with family and friends and playing cards.

She is survived by her husband, Harold; two sons, Doug of Booneville and Darin of Earlham; two daughters, Denise Cox and Darla Miller, both of Earlham; two grandchildren; two brothers, James Rychnovsky of Prescott and Marvin Rychnovsky of Osceola.
