1961ROSE A. DELONG OF TRURO DIED THURSDAY
Rose A. Delong, a life-long resident of the Truro community, died Thursday, May 18 at a Des Moines hospital. She was 72 years of age.
Miss Delong was born July 15, 1888, on a farm near Truro. She was a daughter of Horatio and Elizabeth Hamilton Delong.
She was preceded in death by three sisters and a brother. Surviving are her sister, Mrs. Clarence Bierma of Indianola; three nieces and six nephews.
Funeral services were held Sunday from the Truro Congregrational Christian church, conducted by the pastor, the Rev. Dale Lockhart. Burial was made in the Hartman cemetery near Truro.
