Life-Time Resident There Was 70 Years of Age
Olive E. Delong, a well known resident of Truro, died at her home there Thursday, April 20. She was a life-time resident of that community.
Miss Delong was 70 years of age at her death. A daughter of Horatio and Elizabeth Hamilton Delong, she was born on a farm near Truro June 1, 1890.
Her active years were spent as a school teacher and she participated in several civic organizations in her community.
She was a member of the Congregational Christian Church at Truro.
She is survived by two sisters, Mrs. Clarence Bierma of Indianola and Rose Delong of Truro.
Funeral services were held Sunday from the Congregational Christian Church at Truro, in charge of the Rev. Dale Lockart. Burial was made in the Hartman cemetery at Truro.
