Graveside services for Vivian M. Davis, 83, Davenport, who died Sept. 5 at Mercy Hospital in Davenport, were held Sept. 8 at the Winterset Cemetery with the Rev. Bob Brite officiating.
Born in Mahaska County, Iowa on Aug. 27, 1903, she was the daughter of Benton and Rebecca Werninger Hoff. She was married to Miles M. Davis on Sept. 5, 1925 at Adel.
A former resident of Winterset, she had lived in Davenport the past two years.
Survivors include sons, Myles C. Davis Jr. of Forsyth, Mo., Vern S. Davis of Winterset and Kenneth D. Davis of Davenport; a daughter, Beverly J. Predmore of Davenport; sisters, Viola Crow of Truth or Consequences, N.M. and Ruth Jasma of Boulder, Colo.; six grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, her parents and a grandchild.
