Services for Frank M. Davis, 72, life-long resident of Madison County who died Nov. 10 at Madison County Memorial Hospital, were held at 1:30 p.m. Saturday at the Collins Funeral Home with the Rev. Alan Parker officiating. Burial was at the North McDonald Cemetery.
Mr. Davis was born at Earlham Oct. 11, 1910, the son of William and Nora White Davis. He married Pauline Henricks May 17, 1935 in Van Meter and had been retired since 1974 after working at different rock quarries.
Mr. Davis was a veteran of the Navy and had been a member of the American Legion.
Survivors include his wife; a daughter, Wanda Cox of Montezuma and husband, Loren; a daughter-in-law, Anna Lou Davis of Adel; and a brother, Cecil Davis of New Sharon, 10 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, a son, Donald, four brothers and two sisters.
