1998Mabel Eleanor Gilman, 87, of Earlham died of congestive heart failure July 6, 1998.
Funeral services were held Thursday, July 9, at Kuhn Funeral Home in Earlham with the Rev. Robert Farr officiating. Burial was at Penn Center Cemetery near Earlham.
Mabel Gilman was born June 10, 1911, in Penn Township, Madison County, to Coradon and Cora (Imboden) Boyle. She married Everett J. Gilman on Valentine's Day in 1937. They farmed near Earlham.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
She is survived by her husband; two sons, Marlin and Roger; two daughters, Patricia Greenwell and Beverly Powell; one sister, Mildred Willison; one brother, Dale Boyle; and many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
