Mildred E. Daniels, 87, of Albuquerque, N.M., died after a lengthy illness June 21, 1997. Memorial services will be held July 25 at 11 a.m. at Collins Funeral Home in Winterset with the Rev. John Shaull officiating.
She was born in Madison County and was a longtime resident of Winterset and Racine, Wisc.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 63 years, Donald L. Daniels.
Surviving relatives include one son, D. Roger Daniels of Albuquerque, N.M.; five daughters, Linda Daniels of Qualicum Beach, British Columbia, Canada, Rita Cepukenas and husband Peter of Racine, Wisc., Thelma Slater and husband Wesley of Racine,Wisc., Doris Knox of Lake Bluff, Ill., and Donna Lanz and husband Walter of Dhahran, Saudi Arabia; one brother, Lloyd Sankey and wife Betty of Winterset; sisters, Harriet McDonald and husband Louis of Winterset, Dorothy Rambow and husband Paul of Winterset; 15 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren, and three great-great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be directed to the Madison County Historical Society or the Winterset Library.
