Nina Mae Harris, 92, of Earlham, died Monday, Feb. 23, 1998 of pneumonia at the Horn Memorial Hospital in Ida Grove. A memorial service will be held March 5 at the First Presbyterian Church in Earlham at 10:30 a.m., with burial of the cremains following in the Earlham Cemetery. Arrangements were made by Kuhn Funeral Home of Earlham.

Mrs. Harris was born May 5, 1905 on the farmily farm near Boone to Frank and Lillie Huffman Cody. She married Buford "Bubbles" Harris on June 16, 1928 in Waterloo. The couple moved to Dexter and Earlham, where they farmed for many years.

Mrs. Harris was an active member in the First Presbyterian Church in Earlham, a member of the Presbyterian Women and a deaconess.

Mrs. Harris is survived by two daughters, Bonnie Leeper of Inglewood, Calif. and Marjorie Benson of Schleswig; one brother, Harold Cody of Tustin, Calif.; 12 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Harris was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; one son, Kenneth; one brother, Carroll; and two sisters, Genevive and Mabel.
