Rites Thursday For McKibben

Services for L. Scott McKibben, 83, of 4319 Hickman road, who died of pneumonia Monday at the Garden Court Nursing Home, will be at 1:30 p.m. Thursday at Westover Funeral Home, with burial at the Earlham, Ia. Cemetery.

Mr. McKibben, native of Dallas County, had lived in Des Moines 31 years, moving here from Earlham. He retired last July 1 as a salesman for Sumner Pontiac Co. He was a member of First United Methodist Church, Acanthus Masonic Lodge No. 632, 5 50-year Mason and past president of the Automobile Salesman's Guild.

Survivors are his wife, Leah L., and daughter, Mrs. Marjoie Wright, both of Des Moines; brother, Caroll of Boise, Idaho; two sisters, Mrs. V. L. Middleton and Mrs. Earl McLaren (McClaren), both of Des Moines, and a granddaughter.

Thursday Services for Scott McKibben

Scott McKibben, former Earlham businessman, died Monday morning at the Garden Court nursing home in Des Moines after a several weeks illness.

Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Thursday at the Westover Funeral Home on Hickman Road, and burial will be in the Earlham cemetery.

Mr. McKibben is survived by his wife Leah; one daughter, Mrs. Marjorie Wright of Des Moines; one granddaughter, Mrs. Jack King of Sacramento, California; one brother, Carroll of Boise, Idaho; and two sisters, Mae Middleton and Veta McClaren of Des Moines.
