Hattie McKibben, 88, of Zearing died Thursday

Zearing – The funeral has been set for Saturday at 1:30 p.m. at the Brouhard Funeral Home here for Hattie May McKibben, who died early Thursday morning at Colonial Manor Nursing Home in Zearing. She was 88.

She is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Lucille Brown of Zearing; a brother-in-law, (son-in-law) Charles Price of Marshalltown; three grandchildren, W. E. Brown of Zearing, Mrs. Shirley Wickham of Adel, and Edwin L. Brown of Chugwater, Wyoming; 12 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.

Burial will be in the Zearing Cemetery.

Note: Hattie McKibben was the wife of Samuel Everett McKibben, they were former residents of Earlham, Iowa.
