Services for Forrest "Buck" Creger, 79, Truro, who died Tuesday, Nov. 4, at Osceola Leisure Manor, will be held Friday, Nov. 7, at 10:30 a.m. at the Kale Funeral Home in Truro with the Rev. Anna Louise Weisenfluh officiating. Burial will be at Young Cemetery at Truro.
Born at Truro Sept. 15, 1907, he was the son of Ora and Daisy Fenimore Creger. He was a retired worker of the Natural Gas Pipeline Co., and was a lifelong resident of Madison County.
Survivors include his wife, Marge of Truro; daughter Rosemary Strawn and husband Dale of Altoona; two grandsons; and four great-grandchildren.

Forrest Glen (Buck) Creger, 79, Truro, died at the Osceola Leisure Manor Tuesday, November 4, 1986. Services will be held Friday, November 7 from the Kale Funeral Home in Truro with the Rev. Anna Louise Weisenfluh of Truro officiating at the 10:30 a.m. rites. Interment will be in Young Cemetery in Truro.
Forrest Glen Creger was born September 15, 1907 in Truro, Iowa, son of Ora Creger and Daisy Fenimore Creger. He attended schools in Truro, Winterset and Peru and on January 8, 1927 was married to Marge Holmes in Atlantic, Iowa. One child was born to this union.
He was a lifetime Madison County resident and worked for the Natural Gas Pipeline prior to his retirement.
Survivors include his wife, Marge of Truro; daughter, Rosemary Strawn and husband, Dale of Altoona; two grandsons, Richard Strawn of Ankeny and Tim Strawn of Roanoke, Virginia; four great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents.

Forrest, Glen “Buck” Creger, son of Ora and Daisy Fenimore Creger was born in Truro, Iowa on September 15, 1907 and passed away November 4, 1986 at Osceola Leisure Manor, Osceola, Iowa at the age of 79 years, one month and 19 days.
He attended schools at Truro, Peru and Winterset, Iowa. On January 8, 1927, he married Marjorie Holmes in Atlantic, Iowa. One daughter, Rosemary was born to this union.
He worked for the Natural Gas Pipeline for 24 years.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Survivors include his wife Marge of Truro; daughter, Rosemary Strawn and husband, Dale of Altoona; two grandsons, Richard Strawn of Ankeny and Tim Strawn of Roanoke, Virginia; and four great grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Friday, November 7 at 10:30 a.m. at the Kale Funeral Home in Truro. Burial was in the Young Cemetery at Truro. The Rev. Anna Louise Weisenfluh of Truro officiated.
