Services for Ross A. Crawford, 79, Winterset, who died Sunday at the Madison County Memorial Hospital, were held at 2 p.m. today (Wednesday) at Early Chapel Christian Church south of Earlham. The body will be cremated and burial will be in Winterset Cemetery.
Mr. Crawford was born in Madison County and lived in Winterset since 1964. He was owner and operator of an auto mechanic shop in Earlham and also a farmer.
Survivors include his wife, Mary; a son, John of Newton; a daughter, Phyllis of Des Moines, and two grandchildren.
The family suggests memorial contributions be made to the American Lung Association.
