Graveside services for Mary B. Crawford, 85, Winterset, who died July 1 at Iowa Methodist Medical Center, were held Monday, July 3, at the Winterset Cemetery with the Rev. Paul Martin of the Mennonite Church in Des Moines.

Born in Winterset on Dec. 5, 1903, she was the daughter of Walter and Sara Wright Beem. she was married to Ross Crawford in 1927 in Madison County.

A homemaker she was a lifetime resident of Madison County and Winterset.

Survivors include a son, John of Newton; a daughter, Phyllis J. Crawford of Des Moines; sisters, Gladys Callison of Winterset and Lilliam Comstock of West Des Moines; and two grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, four brothers and a sister.
