Alice McLaughlin Coyne, Omaha

Alice McLaughlin Coyne, 84, of Omaha died Fri. Dec. 22 of complications following a stroke. Services were held Wed., Dec. 27 at St. Patrick's Catholic Church at Irish Settlement near Cumming, of which she had been a member. Burial was in St. Patrick's Irish Settlement Cemetery.

Mrs. Coyne was born in Churchville, the daughter of Anthony and Anne McCuster. She lived in the Cumming and Des Moines area most of her life and for a few years in Mitchell. S.D. She retired from the Iowa Department of Transportation drivers license bureau and was a member of Madison County Antique Association.

She was married to John J. McLaughlin, who died in 1951. In 1965, she married Leo Coyne of Mitchell, S.D., and they lived in Mitchell for about ten years until Leo's death.

Surviving are four daughters, Pat Corkrean of Cumming, Helen Morehouse of Lincoln, Neb., Celine Waring of Omaha and Jane Weist of Denver, Colo.; three sons, Richard of Des Moines, John of St. Louis and Michael of Omaha; 24 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren.
