WILMA WONDERLIN, rural St. Charles

A funeral service was held Sunday, May 30, at St. Mary's Catholic Church for Wilma Jean Wonderlin of rural St. Charles, who died May 28, 1982, at Iowa Methodist Medical Center in Des Moines. She was 56 years old.

Born Feb. 2, 1926 in Ogden, Iowa, she was the daughter of Oscar and Ida Kellison Porter.

She attended school in Beaver, Iowa and on Jan. 31, 1948 married Henry J. Wonderlin in Churchville. Three children were born to the union.

She was preceded in death by her parents. Survivors include her husband, Henry; two sons, Jerome of Martensdale and Douglas of St. Charles; a daughter, Kathy, of Des Moines; and one granddaughter.

A prayer service was held at Kale Funeral Home in Truro on Saturday, May 29. Msgr. Paul Connelly officiated at the funeral service, with burial at St. Charles Cemetery.
