LLOYD CONWAY DIES FRIDAY IN CALIFORNIA

Lloyd Conway, a former resident of Macksburg and Winterset, died suddenly last Thursday, June 30 at his home in Los Angeles. Death resulted from a heart attack. He was 56 years of age.

Mr. Conway spent his early life near Macksburg, but lived in Winterset for many years, graduating from high school here. He moved from here about 18 years ago, and had lived several years in Los Angeles where he was employed as an engineer at a radio station.

Near surviving relatives include his wife, Ruth of Los Angeles; a son, Foy Conway, of Chicago; his father, Glen Conway and his brother, Russell Conway, both of El Monte, Calif.

Funeral services and burial were held this Tuesday in Los Angeles.
