Lelia Ada Clopton, a former Madison County resident, died in Fresno, Calif. on Oct. 3. She was 76 years old.
Born in Indianola on Feb. 18, 1905, she was the daughter of Edward and Eldora Deaton Clark.
On Feb. 5, 1923, she married Issaac Haymond Clopton in Indianola. Mr. Clopton died in 1970.
In 1957 she moved from Madison county to California, where she resided until her death.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Issaac; two brothers and one sister.
