Robert Earl Clarkson, 72, of Stockton, Mo., died July 15, 1994 at the Citizens Memorial Hospital in Bolivar, Mo. Funeral services were at Brumback Funeral Home, Stockton, Mo. with cremation following the services.
He was born in Winterset Oct. 20, 1921 to John W. and Merle (Benham) Clarkson. He married Amy H. Soli. He served during WW II and was a life member of VFW post No. 8142 in Winterset.
Surviving relatives include Harold Clarkson of Winterset.

Page 32, Column 3Robert Earl Clarkson, 72, of Stockton, Mo., died of emphysema and cancer Friday at Citizens Memorial Hospital in Bolivar, Mo. Services were held Monday, with cremation following.
Mr. Clarkson was born in Winterset, where he lived until 1981. He retired as a lineman for Northwestern Bell Telephone Co.
Surviving are his wife, Amy; four daughters, Sharon Royer of Peoria, Ill., Kathy Thompson of Omaha, Debra Clarkson of Branson, Mo., and Nancy Baker of Pleasantville; five sisters, Dottie McDonald of Sac City, Nayda Johnson of Central City, Neb., Darlene Eklov of Des Moines, Barbara Scholl of Creighton, Neb., and Irene Carver of Long Boat Key, Fla.; two brothers, Harold of Winterset and Phillip of Waterloo; and six grandchildren.
Brumback Funeral Home in Stockton handled arrangements.
