Funeral services for Jessie Mae Clark of Lakeland, Ga. were held at 1:30 p.m. Thursday, September 6 at Collins Funeral Home. Burial was at the Winterset Cemetery with Pastor Jesse Walker officiating. Mrs. Clark died September 3 at Lakeland Villa Convalescent Center in Lakeland, Ga. at the age of 88.
Born on February 6, 1891 in Adair County, she was the daughter of Oliver L. and Anna Reinmuth Jackson. Before she was married to Delbert L. Clark on December 28, 1920, she worked as a secretary for a Winterset attorney and Madison Counry Farm Bureau.
Mrs. Clark lived here 40 years and also lived at Nevada, Ia., Lincoln, Neb., and in California before moving to Georgia.
She attended the Seventh Day Adventist Church.
